Prune Wisteria to encourage flowering by cutting back shoots to two or three buds creating a short spur. Look out for fragrant sarcococca, a small evergreen shrub. Their sweet scented blooms will be with us from now till March, great planted in a pot near a door.
The Flowers of Hellebores will be emerging this month, remove all old foliage this will prevent leaf spot but also ensures flowers take centre stage, new leaves will appear in a few weeks.
